Rockies Rock Tuition Information
2024 Rockies Rock Tuition Rates
There will now be 4 tuition rates for in-county campers, and 1 rate for out-of-county campers.
Cost per Session
Rate 1: For families on free/reduced lunch $50
Rate 2: For families who need to pay a more-reduced rate. $140
Rate 3: For families who need to pay a less-reduced rate. $360
Rate 4: For families who can pay the full cost of camp. $530
Rate 5: For families whose primary residence is outside of Lake County $670
Selecting a Rate
As in previous years, we ask that you contribute at the highest rate that you are able to afford, so that we may cover camp costs and continue to offer this experience to all families in Lake County. We know that it can be hard to choose a tuition rate. Below are some things that you can consider when trying to decide which rate to select.
Consider selecting Rate 3 or Rate 4 if:
You experience relative privilege and abundance (financial, educational, racial).
You own your own home.
You have retirement accounts, inheritance, and investments.
You have a multi-income earning family
You have enough income for expenses like travel, dining out, entertainment, etc.
You have health insurance.
Consider selecting Rate 1 or Rate 2 if:
Your financial circumstances would prevent your child from joining camp.
You belong to an excluded community.
You support multiple family members or are sending remittances.
You live on a fixed income.
You have significant debt.
You don't have health insurance.
You have limited access to resources, credit, savings, etc.
Tuition Relief and Payment Plans
All of our tuition rates have 6-month or 12-month payment plans available. This will help families who'd benefit from the ability to spread out the cost of camp over the entire year. There are no fees associated with payment plans.
***If you are unable to pay the lowest tuition rate ($50) with the 6-month or 12-month payment plan, we are happy to discuss further tuition relief options.***
Our Commitment
We are committed to providing equitable access to Rockies Rock for our community, and we do not want cost to be a barrier to participate. While the lowest minimum payment per session is $50, we realize that may make camp unaffordable to many families. We offer 6 and 12 month payment plans for all of our rates. If needed, on a case-by-case basis, additional tuition relief is available for Lake County youth. To discuss this, or any enrollment issue, please contact us:

Billing, Cancellation, and Refund Policies
In the event of a cancellation, deposits are not refundable; 100% of tuition refund is available if cancellation is 2 weeks or more in advance of the start of the session (Minus the non-refundable deposit); 50% refund (for the session in question) will be granted if cancellation is less than 2 weeks from the start of the session (Minus the non-refundable deposit); No refund is available if cancellation is at the start or after programming has started.
50% of any balance due to GOL! is required in addition to the session deposit to enroll in Rockies Rock for 2023.
You are welcome to make larger monthly payments than you are billed for to pay your balance off faster.
Invoices are sent out by email on the 1st of each month (or following business day if the 1st is a holiday or weekend) and payment is due by the 15th. It is your responsibility to see these emails. Please check and set any junk mail filters. You are welcome to come to our office for physical, printed invoices - 901 Hwy 24 (CMC campus) or during Rockies Rock you can also come to Lake County Elementary School, 130 W 12th St.
If you cannot make a full payment in a given month, please communicate to GOL! and make a smaller payment that is possible for you. Something is better than nothing (minimum $1.00).
