GOL! knows everyone connects to nature differently and we want to encourage you to strengthen your relationship with nature as you strengthen your relationships with each other!

Join Us for our inaugural Community Nature Connection on January 10th!

Community Nature Connections are led by community members who are insterested in sharing about their inspiration and connection to nature with other community members. This is a safe space in which community members can build and strengthen relationships within the Lake County Community, and learn other ways to connect with our natural world.

Join us on January 10th from 6:30pm-8:00pm at the Colorado Mountain College Library Building Room 317,  to experience the nature-inspired art of Leadville’s own, Marika Guthrie. Learn about how Marika creates nature-inspired cloth paintings (like below) and make one of your own! (ages 14 & up)

For more information about this event, or if you are interested in leading a Community Nature Connection yourself, or to RSVP (not required, but encouraged), contact GOL!’s Hub Coordinator, Jackie Radilla at or at 719.293.5533.

Check back soon for the many family fun outings planned for 2019!

The community Gear Library will be the hub of GOL! family activities. More family-focused outdoor adventures will launch once the new building is complete. Stay tuned!
