COMMUNITY NATURE CONNECTIONS

GOL! knows everyone connects to nature differently and we want to encourage you to strengthen your relationship with nature as you strengthen your relationships with each other!

Join Us for our March Community Nature Connections!

Glass Jar Sprout Gardens – May 9th – 7-8:30pm

What?  Honor Mother Earth and your mom or another important woman in your life at our May 9th Community Nature Connection. Join Kendra Kurihara (Cloud City Conservation Center) to make sprout gardens in a jar and Cristina Reveles to enjoy a sprout-filled twist on a traditional Mexican salad. We’ll also be crafting cute heart-shaped cards out of recycled materials to decorate our “gardens.” Materials provided by Get Outdoors Leadville! (Please bring a wide-mouthed, 1-quart glass jar or larger + lid if you have it! Ball jars/Mason jars are ideal). This activity is FREE!

When? May 9th, 7pm-8:30pm

Where? Colorado Mountain College, Climax Building, Room 401

***All ages welcomed. Youth 15 & under must be accompanied by an adult***
